Everything about the Thermal Expansion add-on, Redstone Arsenal, adding new tools, armor, and weapons in a similar style
Redstone Arsenal adds Thermal Expansion-style armor, weapons, and tools to Minecraft using Thermal Foundation components. With some differences, the mod is available in versions 1.6.4 to 1.12.2.
The tools do not need to be repaired but are powered by RF received in the charger.
Materials (edit)
Redstone Arsenal adds two main materials for crafting equipment – Flax Electrum and Flax Crystals.
For electrum, first mix as with other Thermal Foundation alloys:
Electrum Flux Blend Recipes
It requires a bucket of destabilized Redstone (obtained in a magma crucible of melting Redstone dust) and 2 stacks of electrum dust or 1 stack of gold and silver.
And then combine the mixture with the sand in an induction smelter:
Craft Flax Electrum Ingots
Flax crystals are obtained by filling a diamond with the same destabilized Redstone, either crafting or in a liquid dispenser:

For the production of armor, you will need secondary components – flux electrum plates and flux coating of the armor.
The first ones are made, as usual – in a compactor from ready-made ingots:

Armor plating is crafted from the following plates and flax crystals:

Additional material for tools and weapons – Flux-Filled Obsidian Rod:

In addition, some tools will require flux electrum gears, which are made like gears from other metals and alloys at the Thermal Foundation:

Armor
Elements of armor are made like armor from a regular game, but a coating is used as a material.
Such armor protects against damage and accepts enchantments similarly to diamond, but excludes the possibility of being broken in battle – even after the armor is discharged, you can get out using portable capacitors configured to charge items in your inventory.
Recipes:

Crafting a Flux-Filled Chestpiece
Craft Flux-Infused Leggings
Wrench and its combat version
Redstone Arsenal adds a wrench that works like a regular wrench, which however also works like a scissor, again with a recharge:
Flux-Filled Wrench
The second option, the combat wrench, will allow you to repel a sharp attack done when you are setting up something. Its damage when attacking in full force is 7. The key has an enhanced mode (by default, the V key), in which the damage done is doubled, and the energy consumption is quadrupled.

Sword and Shield
The Redstone Arsenal sword works like any other. Damage in normal mode – 7, in enhanced mode – 16.
Flux-infused sword
The peculiarity of the shield, in addition to the ability to block blows with energy costs, is retaliatory damage, usually 1, and when reinforced – 6.
Flux-Infused Shield
Quiver and Bow
A flux-infused bow fires with more force, arrows come at a more right angle and take less time to draw.

To save money on arrows without using the Infinity enchantment, you can assemble a quiver. In addition to making arrows from energy, the quiver makes them more powerful, especially in enhanced mode.

Instruments
Redstone Arsenal tools are also similar to regular tools, again except for the ability to recharge and boost mode. Boost Mode speeds up tools and their secondary damage. In addition to the tools from the regular game, the mod also implements improved sickle, spade, hammer, and fishing rod :
Flux-Filled Pickaxe
Flux-infused ax
Flux-Filled Sickle
Flux-Filled Fishing Pole
Flux-infused spade
Flux-infused hammer
Flux-Filled Shovel
That’s all. Now you know about the Redstone Arsenal mod, all its crafting recipes, enhanced mode, and tool features.
