In this article, we, first of all, will consider the main points in the passage of story missions in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. That is, for now, we will not touch on other storylines, we will try to publish articles on them a little later. So let’s get started.
Prologue Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
The first mission serves as a tutorial, in which the game will acquaint you with the main points of the combat system. Here you have to participate in a landmark battle in which King Leonidas, who led a small detachment of Spartans, gave battle to a large army of Persians who invaded the lands of Greece. He is the only one who decided to give battle to the enemy, who was several tens of times superior to the forces of the soldiers of Sparta.
During the battle, follow the on-screen prompts that will show when to block and when to counterattack the enemy. You can kill ordinary Persians even to the end of the century, but if you want to go further, then you should go to the right side of the location, where the yellow quest marker is located. When you get to the place, the game will show you a cutscene, after which Leonidas will have to fight with the commander of the Persian troops. Parrying the opponent’s attacks is useless, the king needs to dodge them and attack himself when the enemy carries out his blow.
After the end of the battle, you will meet with Leila Hassan. The game will prompt you to select the difficulty level and game mode. You can change these parameters in the future at any time, so you can determine even the highest difficulty. Among other things, the players at this stage also choose their character: the girl Kassandra and the man of Alexios. In general, the passage for them is the same and will differ only in those whom you see in front of you. Choose a character to your liking and move on to the main gameplay.
Something Starts Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
After the end of the introductory video, you appear in the world and begin to control the direct hero of Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey. You are immediately attacked by thugs, who must be dealt with using the knowledge of the combat system, obtained a little earlier. When the fight is over (it will be quite simple and quick), a dialogue will begin in which your character will be faced with the first need to make a moral choice. In some cases, the decision you make will not affect anything, while in others it will have a direct impact on the ending. We talked in more detail about which dialogue options should be chosen in the previous article.
If you want to move further along the plot, then choose the yellow answer options. Now you can threaten defeated enemies to kill them or fulfill your threat. After that, we go to the vineyard of Marcos.
We rise to the very top, where we find the hero’s equipment. We move along the bridge and at the first fork, we turn to the left, where we again meet familiar bandits (they will meet you if you spared them a little earlier). This time, the squad of thugs will be supplemented with an archer, who is hiding behind a small shelter. It is best to kill him first since it is quite difficult to dodge arrows. Deal with the rest of the enemies, search the corpses (they have some money, so do not forget to check the pockets of the defeated opponents), and go inside the barn.
A little later, we activate Icarus to continue completing the main tasks. You can do this anyway when you’ve finished doing side quests and having fun in the open world of Greece.
We get to Markos, and during the conversation with the NPC, select the desired horse. Marcos will offer you a choice of knights of different suits, while the speed indicator will be the same for everyone. When you make your choice, watch the cut-scene and move on to completing the tasks of the next chapter of Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey.
Debt Collection Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
Marcos sends you to knock out debts, while the bandits kidnap Phoebe. Now you need to achieve two goals: save the girl and take the money. - Quarries;
- Tombs and so on.
By holding down the ALT button, you can view all the tasks for opening the area. For completing any activity, your character will gain experience, most of all rewards are received for completing missions with opening chests, rescuing hostages, killing a commander, and burning army supplies.
When you free Phoebe, you will learn about the mercenaries you can hunt for. Also, mercenaries will pursue your character if a reward is announced for him. For now, you can ignore this activity, since the level of the enemies is significantly higher than yours. Talos can be eliminated after your character reaches 5th level.
After visiting the beach, we go to the vineyard. There is a merchant named Duris in the shop of Sami settlement near the docks. You can interact with him in several ways: make him pay by breaking a jug, kill or spare him by leaving the shop without money. In the Temple of Zeus, we find Marcos, after talking with whom we follow the girl to the shop and get a repaired bow.
An Eye for an Eye Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
Again we go to Marcos in the vineyard and talk with him. After the start of the quest, we go down the mountain from the vineyard – to the west of Pali. In principle, you can move along the roads on a horse, but the easiest way to get to the desired place is in a straight line – your hero can overcome almost any obstacle on the way using the parkour system.
After summoning Icarus, slow down the time – this is required for a detailed study of the area. We mark all places with treasures and enemies. Try to find as many useful points as possible, since any detection of the territory by the bird will pump it over. The higher the level of Icarus, the easier it is to find hidden objects, the discovery of which will give you access to the best equipment and money.
To complete this mission as quickly as possible, you are advised to move across the territory, hiding in the grass. The fact is that you are not too pumped yet, so a direct collision with such a large group of opponents can make you sweat a lot. You can defeat opponents only at the lowest difficulty level, and the higher one will be your sentence.
Move along the top and find the Cyclops eyes in one of the buildings. If you want to immediately complete the quest, then with the eye found in the casket, go directly to Marcos. But you can also explore the entire available location and perform tasks found when you press ALT.
Dear Guests Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
During the dialogue with Marcos, you will receive the following task. Your interlocutor plans to further evade taxes that the Cyclops gang asks from him. You now need to show everyone who is “in the house folder” by eliminating several subordinates close to the leader of the group. In your region, you can find one target that you can get to without any problems.
We leave the vineyard, move to the destroyed bridge near Sami. Summon a bird to explore the area for enemies and loot chests. It is best to carry out this task, like the previous one, in secret. And even better – at night, when part of the gang will be resting. We also act with the help of a whistle, attracting enemies one by one. Keep to the bushes and make your way into the house where there will be two opponents (if you still decide to complete the quest at night). We recommend that you get rid of them by setting fire to barrels of fuel, for which you need to use a torch.
The quest will be completed when you have killed all the enemies in this area. A video clip will start in which your character will meet Elpenor. In a conversation with him, you can choose any options, the decisions made here will not affect anything. The only moment is to inform Elpenop that you will find Penelope’s shroud for him when the conversation starts for this thing. After that, the task will be completed.
Shroud of Penelope Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
The beginning of the quest will find you on the beach, a little further you will see an island called Ithaca. You can get there by swimming or using a boat moored nearby. When you arrive at the place, call Icarus – the bird will point to the shroud, which will be in the fort. We go to the location with the ruins of the palace of Odysseus, we study them in great detail, discovering various treasures. There will also be opponents that you, in principle, can kill in close combat. But with a covert passage, there will be much less hassle, so choose the way to solve the problem yourself.
You can complete the task of finding the shroud if you eliminate the captain of the enemy troops in this location. When you search his body and find the item, return to the beach and leave Ithaca just as you arrived here. If you want to establish a relationship with an NPC, then on this island you can free a captive, who, possibly, will become your partner in the future 🙂
Once you arrive at the beach, don’t waste time looking for Elpenor. It is located in the Temple of Zeus in Sami, so go straight there. In a conversation with him, Elpenor will ask you to eliminate the Wolf – one of the leaders of Sparta. Make a choice, but keep in mind that the decision you make will not have much impact on the plot.
Big Break Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
Next, you should complete two goals: kill the Wolf and eliminate the leader of the Cyclops. The second must be eliminated to get at your disposal a combat floating ship, without which you cannot advance in the plot.
We leave for the docks of the city of Sami, we find there a shipman named Clemens. The NPC will tell you that it will cost you several thousand drachmas to purchase your ship. Of course, you will not have the required amount, but your character will also receive information that Cyclops and his team are currently visiting the city.
Move to the south of the city, find an abandoned house. We go down from the cliff until you see the Cyclops torturing a man. When the scene ends, a fight with the enemy will begin. At this time, archers will shoot at you, so you will have to constantly dodge both their attacks and the attacks of the Cyclops.
After the end of the battle, free the prisoner and go with him to the top of the mountain – to a safe place. Now you have a real battle against a serious enemy. In the bay near Megaris, you will meet three Athenian ships at once, which should be destroyed. It is recommended to first deal with small vessels by ramming or boarding them. By the way, the latter will allow you to restore several points of your Adrestia’s strength and increase the reward for completing the battle.
When you deal with the Athenians, enter the bay and moor the ship. A cut-scene will start in which your character will be met by Nikolaos and Stentor. Keep in mind that in the conversation with the second, there are options that will affect the ending of Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey.
Athenian General Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
Now you need to fight to weaken the influence of the leader of Athens in this region. Just destroy enemy fighters. When the scale drops to the required level, the mission for the region starts. Here you can also complete several side quests, including the discovery and burning of supplies on the territory of the fortress.
Cut down on the diet Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
In Megaris we meet a character named Dolton. In a conversation with him, select the option “I am a friend of Sparta”, then search the area and find several clues: a rock next to the cart, an empty supply cart, and the corpse of a soldier next to Dolton.

We use Icarus to find the target – the further path lies in the cave from the side of Tirey’s grave.

We move to Pagai and find a warrior in a tent there. We talk with him, agree to help with the search for the missing card. We leave for the west and climb the hills. At the very top, call Icarus to find a quest item. The traitor will be guarded by mercenaries with whom you need to deal with. After the fight, free him and choose between several options:
- Murder;
- Mercy and receiving the card;
- Making a deal (don’t choose this option better).
We return to the quest NPC and give the card, after which we learn that the culprit of the incident is Girkanos. After that, the mission ends, and we move on to the next task in Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey.
African Treasury Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
We leave for the Giranei fort, which is located near Page. This quest will most of all reduce the level of Athens’ influence in the region, so prepare for it thoroughly (do not forget to explore the area with Icarus, and, in general, we recommend that you complete this procedure before starting each quest).
Another recommendation is to act at night, as there are a lot of enemies here. Icarus you can find purple boxes – these are supplies that we need to burn. Try to stay close to the walls and bushes, since not every enemy can be defeated with a single poke.
The main goal of the mission is the chest with the capital of Athens, which you will find in the building located farthest from the gate. Also here you can free the bears from the cages, which will help in eliminating the enemy forces. We strongly recommend spending a little more time in this location, killing the Athenians. Believe me, in the future it will be very useful to you! And complete the side quests, receiving an additional reward.
Hunt for Hyrkanos Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
Now you need to eliminate one of the generals of the Athenians, whose name is Hyrkanos. In general, his murder does not particularly stand out from similar tasks to eliminate other captains. Consider only the fact that Hyrkanos has increased resistance to arrows fired from a bow, but his resistance to fire attacks is extremely small.
You can find the fighter in the Megara temple in Megaris. In a battle with him, try to dodge attacks at the moment when Hyrkanos turns red. It is best to use a kick and a fire skill from the Warrior tree to attack.
When you have eliminated the boss, search the body and return to Dolios. He will stand in the same place, waiting for you to return. Talk to the NPC and proceed to the next mission.
The Last Push Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
When the Athenian leader’s influence in the region has weakened, speak with the Stentor on Megaris’s Yarn. Follow the NPC, have another dialogue and start a battle for power in this territory.
In general, you will have enough of these battles, and they will not be too difficult. Try to complete all the targets marked with a marker, lowering the scale of the enemy’s army power. When it drops to a minimum, the battle will be won. The game will show you statistics and reward you, and you can move on to the next chapter of the storyline.

After completing the previous task, we move up the path. At the very end, at the top of the cliff, we meet Nikolaos, in a dialogue with whom you have to make a landmark decision. We set off on our ship-to Phocis. The region stretches far north of Megaris, so you have to sail for a long time. When you get close to the site, look for a harbor related to Cyprus. We moor, go to the pier and move to the very center of the city. There we find Elpenor’s estate, go inside and start a conversation.
During the conversation, the decisions made will not affect anything. But the man suddenly decides to hide, and his minions will attack you. After the battle, you need to explore the house, finding several clues:
- A note on the table at which Elpenor was sitting a little earlier.
- The second note is on the table next to the mansion entrance.
- Bookshelf on the far right side of the room.
After finding all three clues, the task will be completed.
Communication with a Ghost Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
We leave for the Delphi sanctuary, which is located near the city of Parnassus. In the temple of Apollo, we are looking for the Pythia, followed by a conversation with Herodotus and Barnabas. We complete the dialogue and move on, talking with the Pythia. In the process, you can choose any options, none of them will have long-term consequences.
When the conversation ends, the Pythia will be taken away, and you will find yourself on the street with Herodotus. A dialogue follows again, after which the task will be completed.
The Truth is Becoming Clear Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
Now you need to enter Pythia’s house to find her and get the information that she did not have time to provide you during the previous conversation.
We move towards the building, guarded by several soldiers. The easiest way to get inside is to move on the roof at night, so do not forget to rewind time and launch Icarus into the sky. When all the enemies are marked, we move along the roof, we jump into the room and we pass through the door into the chambers of the Pythia. We talk with the girl, select at the end the item “I’m going to deal with the Cult.” When you complete the dialogue, leave the building and travel beyond the borders of Delphi, where Herodotus is waiting for you. After talking with him, the task ends.
Snake in the Grass Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
On the territory of Phocis, we find a fortress in the southeastern part of the Nymph valley. You can get into the fort by climbing the walls or going through the cave to the courtyard. You can find the entrance to the cave behind the vines, it is not indicated on the map in any way.
You can find Elpenor inside the grotto, located far from other buildings. After killing him, our character realizes that he has eliminated a double, and the real Elpenor is hiding in the Snake’s cave, located in the western part of the location.
On the way to the cave, you will meet several enemies who will be waiting for you at the Temple of the Snake. When you go into the underground structure, you will see several more guards and Elpenor himself. In a fight with him, as with Cyclops, try to dodge, as the boss’s attacks take a lot of health. At the end of the battle, talk to the defeated enemy and confirm the elimination of the Cult and find quest items by searching the body of the deceased.
Snake’s Lair Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
We return to the sanctuary of Delphi, we meet Herodotus near the entrance to the temple with two columns. When your character puts on the cultist costume stolen a little earlier, go to the temple. We go down to the main hall, search the location and communicate with another NPC standing in the center. In the room with the waterfall, we are looking for a note, and then in the room in the northwest, we deal with a member of the cult torturing some person.
When all the clues are collected, we return to the central hall and set things on a pedestal in the center of the room. In the next video, launched after the activation of the artifact, you will discover the true essence of Deimos. We return to Herodotus, talk to the old man and complete the current task.
Bringing Back Memories of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
On the eastern side of Malida, next to the ocean, we meet Herodotus. We examine the columns and a large article of a lion, after which there is an acquaintance with the artifact spear of Leonidas and a small history of the state. When the video ends, we go to the island of Andros, located in the southwestern part of the region. After calling Icarus, find the path along which we move until we find a very strange door.
We open the passage, follow on to the pedestal, in which the spear of Leonidas is installed. This place is the point at which your hero can upgrade weapons, increasing their level. When you have collected enough fragments, come back here – getting the next level will significantly increase your power!
Having finished manipulating the spear, we return to real-time. You are now in control of Leila Hassan and you can find out what her story is. In general, there are no iconic decisions, so end the story on behalf of this character by examining the location and return to the Animus. Once in the device, we again find ourselves in Greece.
A video will start in which we see both main characters: Alexios and Kassandra. You can choose the option with a family fight, after which we follow to the ship, talk to Herodotus and complete this mission.
Arrival in Athens Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
Target – Herodotus, standing on the beach of Attica. After the conversation, we move to the southeastern part of Athens, until we find a scene with a large crowd. Here we are looking for Cleon with Pericles. In communication with the first, we inform you that we need to get to the symposium. Listen to the words of the interlocutor, collect the necessary information and complete the quest.
Outcast Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
We move to the agora of Athens and find there a man in a green cloak (he is currently talking with Pericles). The NPC will give you a task in which you need to get a fake plate and replace the original with it. You can get to the next place secretly without raising an alarm. There are few guards there, so there shouldn’t be any problems.
When you arrive at the building containing the voices, summon Icarus to mark all targets. In the northern part of the building on the second floor, we find the first casket, after which we move to the south-western part to the first floor – there is the second box. When you complete the substitution, return to the person who gave you the task.
Note: if you are noticed by the guards during the substitution, the NPC will tell you that the authorities have evidence of falsified votes. True, this will not affect the elections in any way, so you can not facepalm if you are found! 🙂
When you complete the communication, talk to Socrates – this will complete the mission.
Leaving Athens Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
We proceed to the task related to marble statues of bulls. When you arrive at the quest marker, choose what to do: eliminate or bribe the guard. We move inside the building and look for Phidias on the upper tier. During the conversation, we convince him to leave the building and kill the guard that appears. We leave for the port of Piraeus, rewind time for the night, find it and deliver it to Serifos on our ship.
When you moor Adristia to the pier, Phidias will leave the ship and meet with his friend. After the conversation between the men, the task will be completed.
Poisonous Question Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
We move to the estate of Metiochos, along the roof we move inside the building. Having found the owner, kill the snakes surrounding him and start a conversation about his enemies. Your hero learns that the attackers live in the fishing area of ​​Athens.

It is preliminary recommended running Icarus to mark on the map all the snakes in the district. If you managed to pump the bird, Icarus will help you deal with all the reptiles. After killing the owner of the living creatures, we return to Metiokhis and after the conversation, we complete the mission.
Synopsis of Pericles Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

We need to get to Phoebe’s house and talk to all the guests, finding out the necessary information.
Bottoms Up Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
First, we go to the kitchen and there we talk with Sophocles, who asks him to help him play his student. Then we talk with the maid and convince the girl to give you a bottle of red wine. Do not forget to pick up the oil here, which will come in handy in another task.
We return to the main hall, where the party is held, we look for Aristophanes and Euripides talking there. In a conversation, we convince men in blue and green clothes to take part in the competition, who will drink more. Keep pouring wine for them while the men drink until Euripides starts talking about Hippocrates. When you find out all the facts, return to Sophocles and complete the quest.
Oil and Love Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
We move to the western part of the building and go along the corridor to the locked door at the very end. Behind her we find Alcibiades, we speak with him, we hear how he asks to bring the oil. If you took it earlier, give it back immediately, and if not, return it to the kitchen and find the item.
Here Alcibiades will offer you sex, you can agree or refuse. After that, the NPC will tell you about the getters, after which the task will be completed.
We return to Socrates, after which we talk with Aspasia and go upstairs, where Pericles is already waiting for you. Warn him about the Cult, then go downstairs and chat with Phoebe. After the conversation, you will leave the premises and finish the next task.
Do no Harm Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
In the northeastern part of Argolis is the Hippocrates clinic, we go there. Upon arrival at the place, we see a conversation between the assistant of Hippocrates and Hisiah, we wait for the girl to leave and are collecting important information.
After receiving the quest, we move to the rocks in the southeast of the settlement, we look for the entrance to the Pan cave. There we find Hippocrates, who, during the conversation, asks to find the records. We find out information about the priests and finish with the mission.
Priests of Asclepius Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
This quest, like the Symposium, consists of several side assignments, described below.
You need to find three priests, each of whom will share the necessary information with you as a reward for completing a small assignment.

You can find the first priestess next to the bathhouse. The NPC will ask you to get rid of the snakes without killing them. We will need to flush the plumbing system with cold water, as reptiles are attracted by hot liquid.
We move behind the baths to the swamp, find a pipe there and interact with it. After success, we return to the priest and end the mission.

The second priest can be found in the same area, it is enough to go to the guest house and overcome several living obstacles and a fence. The NPC will work with tombstones, and as an assignment, you have to visit three different places with him.
In the end, you will be told a little about the past of the heroes, after which you need to get to the olive tree. There we find a priest alive or dead (depending on your decisions) and we face two cultists, whom we kill.
Heart for Head Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
We go to the Valley of Dreams, west of the Tozen camp. The priest we need will be in the tents, who will ask us to find the sacred bull for the future sacrifice and rescue of the child. We move to the ruins of Ashina and use Icarus to placemarks of important targets. It turned out that the bull is already dead, but you still need to get to it and cut out the heart.
We make our way to the goal, killing enemies along the way. We take the heart and together with it we return to the priest in the tent. When you return, choose favor of saving someone, after which this mission and the Priests of Asclepius will be completed.

In the ruins of Argolis is the Tinrif fortress, which we need to visit. We go there and find a house with a locked door (a marker will point to it). Inside you will find a man, in a conversation with whom you can insist on his immediate return to Hippocrates or allowing him to complete the treatment begun.
If you choose the second option, you will have to secretly enter the fortress to the right room and find the chest in which there are special surgical forceps. When you return the item, return to Hippocrates and complete the task.

Follow the quest marker to the house, kill the enemies and talk to Midon. After the conversation, the search for Christis begins.
Ashes to Ashes Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
In the southwest area, we find an altar with a dead bird and examine it. Nearby we find a temple, we deal with the opponents and inside we find Christ. We kill the girl, then we see the running away cultist. You will not keep up with her, so take care of saving the child.
